Worshiped by William
Wade, Zion, and Lucy looked at Susie with eyes that seemed to sparkle like stars.
They looked up to her with an expression of admiration.
Susie had her foot on a face that she couldn't seem to shake off, no matter how hard they tried, and it let out a miserable scream.
Susie pinched her fingers and said in a low voice, "Hey! Spiritual Flame!"
Spiritual what?
Wade was confused for a moment, but then he saw a fireball fly out from Susie's fingertip with a whoosh and turn that face into ashes.
Zion exclaimed, "!!!!"
Wade exclaimed, "!!!!"
A real spiritual 'flame'...
Lucy was dumbfounded.
Wait a minute... she's seen this before!!
She remembered crying alone in her room on the night her mother was kicked out by her grandmother.
Suddenly, a ghost climbed in through the window, and she was so scared that she hid under the covers, but the ghost was trying to lift the covers off her.
That was when Susie arrived, muttering something under her breath and then threw a fireball after the ghost...
"A ghost... it's a ghost!" A lightning bolt seemed to strike Lucy's brain, and she suddenly realized everything!
She wasn't dreaming or sleepwalking before, she had seen a ghost! And she was seeing one now!
Wow, it took her until now to finally realize it.
Lucy pounced on Zion and rode on his neck.
Zion questioned, "???"
How did his little sister jump up like that?!
"Let go!" Zion wobbled, his tongue sticking out, "You're... choking me!"
Wade turned around and saw Lucy riding on Zion's neck, Zion sticking out his tongue, and it was even more terrifying, hanging on to Martin's belt and refusing to come down.
The scene was chaotic for a moment.
Susie threw out a few fireballs, burning the other three faces into ashes, and their screams of misery, anger, and unwillingness completely disappeared.
"Alright!" Susie clapped her hands, and then reached out to retrieve the gossip universe and the binding spirit net.
Martin held Zion, who was about to fall, and picked up Lucy.
Zion fell to the ground with a thud, and Lucy also sat down weakly on the ground, while Wade hung on to Martin.
The three children all had expressions of horror and shock, staring blankly at Susie.
Their sister...is so fierce!
"Were they all dead?" Wade asked worriedly.
Susie said, "They've been dead for a long time!"
"These faces are the vengeful spirits they've gathered. If this altar is worshipped for a few more years, they'll be able to gather completely," said Susie, neatly arranging the altar pieces on the ground.
She asked, "Brother, how do you pronounce these characters?"
Wade was afraid, but his sister was asking him.
He plucked up the courage, took a quick glance, and grabbed Martin's belt.
"It seems to be surnamed Carson...and there's Buck, Lincoln something..."
Martin took a glance and quietly pronounced a few names.
Susie frowned, "These few bullies have such strange names, Stone Root, Wild Beast, they don't sound like good people at all."
Susie wandered around the other rooms and found nothing. That is to say, there was nothing else in this room except for the four altars worshipped in the living room.
"Why do they worship altars here?" she asked, puzzled.
Mitch prompted, "Why do ordinary people worship altars?"
"For the deceased, to guide them to the afterlife?" Susie said.
Mitch nodded, "The eight directions in the prison are suppressed, and someone wants these four villains to never be reborn after they die - we didn't see them in the prison."
"So, these four ghosts should have disappeared, perhaps leaving only a trace of Yin Energy in the world."
"But by worshipping altars here, they are to be guided back and reborn."
A complete soul reincarnated again.
Susie understood, "So, someone is secretly worshipping these bad guys."
Mitch patted her head, "You got it right."
These four people were enemies of everyone in the community.
They did all kinds of bad things, even killing old people and children, but someone worshipped them.
This person must have had some ulterior motive!
Susie asked, "Who is it?"
Mitch pointed to the altars, "The names of the worshippers are on them - William is one of them."
Susie widened her eyes, "Was it that aunt who worshipped them?"
Mitch nodded.
Susie was even more confused.
Why?
This aunt was neither related nor a descendant of theirs...
Clara thought of the money that fell out of William's bag and said, "Maybe it's for money."
Only William knew about this kind of thing.
Susie raised her hand and smashed several memorial tablets, completely destroying the malicious offerings.
Men, women, and children stood densely packed in the corridor, silently watching Susie.
When they saw her burn four face skins and destroy several memorial tablets, someone couldn't help but shed tears with cloudy eyes.
"Dead...dead!" Hatred burst out in their eyes. Susie waved her hand at them and said, "Go ahead...have a good journey!"
Gradually, these "people" left, perhaps they finally saw revenge, or perhaps they ended their worries, and no longer had any lingering grievances and obsession.
Zion and his companions' shouting and screaming eventually attracted people from the nearby Building 6.
Several men, holding flashlights, came up and saw several children first.
Their faces sank immediately, and they scolded, "Which family's children are you? Why are you running around late at night? Where are your parents?"
Martin walked out of the house and calmly took the blame, "I'm here."
When the crowd saw an adult coming out, their first reaction was to be scared, and then they were speechless.
"You're not from our neighborhood, are you? Don't you know where this is..."
The man's words were interrupted by Martin, "I know where this is. I'm here to find something."
He handed over one of the broken memorial tablets, "Someone was secretly offering sacrifices to those villains here."
Martin asked them to go in and see for themselves.
The several men were stunned and suspicious as they went in and looked around.
Soon, their anger was ignited! The apples on the altar were still fresh, indicating that they had just been placed there in the past two days.
It was evident that the person was changing them very diligently! "Is it that damn thing?!" An angry middle-aged man kicked a chair in front of him.
Another person stomped on the memorial tablet and cursed, "Who is the one eating and taking advantage of others, not wanting to be kind? How dare they secretly set up an altar here!"
If there were really heaven and hell in this world, wouldn't those villains be worshipped and go to heaven?!
Everyone's anger was ignited, and someone took pictures of the broken memorial tablets and posted them in the community's homeowners' group.
For one moment, everyone was looking for a person named William!
Suddenly, someone in the group said, "Wait, I know this name...this is my tenant..."
Late at night, everyone rushed towards Building 3 with momentum!
William?!
She's in big trouble now!
